Frederika is a copywriter and foodie, whose love of travelling and trying new dishes has taken her all over the world. She decided to start Sunday Pop-up Eatery after she and a couple of friends, looking for an intimate lunch spot, simply couldn't find any open restaurants on that particular Sunday.

 

Lindé is a chef who's cooking talent far exceeds her youth, with numerous titles and success stories already under her belt. This includes baking for the Mount Nelson and 12 Apostles in Cape Town, and placing 3rd in the second season of Kokkedoor, an Afrikaans cooking show on KykNet.

 

Sheila-Madge is a fashion designer in her own right, but looking for a creative side-project that she could sink her teeth into after her recent move back to her childhood city of Pretoria, she decided to join the team.

With good food and new relationships in mind, Sunday Pop-up Eatery specialises in creative pop-up experiences on the most relaxed day of the week. At the heart of it all stands creator Frederika Fourie and her chef-partner Lindé Karina Watson, as well as the ever creative Sheila-Madge Bakker. Together they ensure a fresh experience with every pop-up that explore different flavours and lifestyles.
